Tsawwassen Springs Golf Club Wedding - Rumsha and Mushfiq

Rumsha knew that Mushfiq was ‘The One’ from the very first day they met. She recalls sharing an instant connection and wishing their first conversation would never end. I admired their love story as I listened to how Mushfiq sent Rumsha roses and chocolates through the months of long distance they endured early in their courtship.

The wedding day began at the bride’s home, sharing memorable moments with family by her side. Every detail of Rumsha’s bridal look was stunning to say the least. She debuted an elegant Pakistani gown flawlessly matching the red lipstick applied by Glamna; her makeup artist. Mushfiq lit up in awe as he turned to see his glowing bride during their first look.

The reception was held at the upscale Tsawwassen Springs Golf Club. The venue’s elegant ambience made for a picturesque backdrop to a romantic celebration. The golf course served as an excellent space for the bride and groom’s photo session that included breathtaking mountain views. Guests were dressed to the nines in traditional Pakistani wear which complimented the event’s golden décor.

The groom and his family made their entrance to the captivating beat of an authentic Dohl drum. The whole room then buzzed with excitement as the bride made her entrance, accompanied by her family. Rumsha’s brother led the reception as master of ceremonies, and delivered an excellent speech. Rumsha’s closest friends also contributed their heartfelt words as they toasted to the new bride and groom. The wedding cake, by Cynthia’s Custom Cakes, was extraordinarily detailed and a true work of art! Everyone cheered and laughed through the classic bride and groom trivia shoe game.

This wedding was not only held on Christmas Eve, but also on Rumsha’s parents’ anniversary, making it extra special. The magical evening concluded with an emotional Rukhsati in which the family shared warm embraces and many tears. Rumsha and Mushfiq exited together feeling loved by their families and excited to start their new life as husband and wife.
